Is it just a quiz?
No. The quiz is how the shopper tells you what they need. AI then picks matching products, presents them as one bundle with an optional set discount and can suggest one more product to reach free shipping. The goal is a bigger, more confident order.
Do I have to build the quiz myself?
No. The AI generator reads your categories and product features and writes a complete quiz with the answers already linked to your catalog. You pick the direction and the number of questions, then edit anything you like. Presets are the other quick start.
What is in a preset?
Questions, answers, branching and texts in three languages, plus suggested bundle settings. Presets cover lingerie and hosiery, fashion, perfume, beauty and skincare, electronics, pet supplies, coffee and tea and universal gifts, plus three gift-season scenarios. After import you connect the answers to your categories and can change anything.
Which PrestaShop versions are supported?
PrestaShop 8.0 to 9.x with PHP 7.4 or newer. The current version was tested on a clean PrestaShop 8.1.7 with PHP 8.3.
Does it work without AI?
Yes. Without an API key the quiz returns the first matching products. Path 2, Dynamic Upsell, Overstock and Statistics never use AI.
How much does the AI cost?
You use your own OpenAI account and pay OpenAI directly. With gpt-4o-mini a completed quiz usually costs a fraction of a cent. Set a monthly limit; when it's reached, the quiz continues without AI.
What data is sent to OpenAI?
The customer's quiz answers and data of the candidate products: name, price, category and features. No names, e-mail addresses or other personal data.
Do I need to edit my theme?
No. The widget is built by JavaScript at run time and works with any theme. Everything is configured on one back-office page.
Does it work with page cache?
Yes. The product page contains only a constant placeholder and Path 2 runs through AJAX. Assets use versioned URLs and work with CCC.
